Responsibilities

Ensure ingredients are stored properly, following a ‘FIFO’ system.
Assist in the daily operation of the storeroom to include, but not limited to, receiving and placing product, reconciling received items to purchase orders to verify accuracy, rotating stock, conducting inventory and issuing and delivering items to departments
Maintain exclusive control over central stores of the hotel with respect to issue releases, control over deliveries and hotel stock counts
Ensure all expiry items are discarded
Assist and support Team Members, Managers and the wider Food and Beverage Department in a team environment

Requirements

Demonstrates a positive and professional approach to work, with good communication skills.

Able to adapt to different work situations and operational requirements.
Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Previous experience in store management and stock control within a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
