What this estimate includes

CPF

The calculation uses 2026 contribution rates, the monthly Ordinary Wage ceiling, and CPF Board rounding rules. It covers private-sector and non-pensionable employees.

Income tax

Personal income tax is separate because residency, reliefs, deductions, and other income change the result. The take-home figure above is before income tax.

What is not included

Bonuses, Additional Wages, foreign worker levies, benefits, commissions treated as Additional Wages, and employer-specific payroll items are not calculated.

Common questions

A few useful limits

Does the take-home figure include income tax?

No. It is a monthly payroll estimate before personal income tax. Use the IRAS calculator for a tax estimate based on your own residency and reliefs.

Why are bonuses not included?

Bonuses and other Additional Wages use an annual CPF ceiling. This page focuses on a normal month of Ordinary Wages so the result stays easy to understand.

What should I put under other deductions?

Use it for deductions that appear on your payslip but are not calculated here, such as self-help group contributions, unpaid leave, or an amount you choose to set aside for tax.
