Responsibilities

You are responsible for the entire engineering operations of all the hotel’s systems, plant, and equipment.
You ensure the POMEC budget is utilised as efficiently and effectively as possible to satisfy guest needs, the property, and its assets.
Assist in directing the functionality, safety, and compliance of buildings, mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC, life safety systems, and grounds in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations
Oversee facility maintenance:
Perform facility inspections and supervise construction, installation, maintenance, and repairs of electrical, mechanical, and architectural systems

Requirements

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:
Engineering degree or relevant certification
10+ years in hotel/building services or related field, 5+ years as Chief/Assistant Chief Engineer in a 5-star hotel
Specialized knowledge in HVAC, water treatment, hydraulics, chillers, electronics, lighting, elevators, fire safety, and related systems
