voco Orchard Singapore is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Chief Steward to be part of our team.
As Assistant Chef Steward, you are responsible for supervising the Kitchen Stewards and supporting the Back of House team to deliver an excellent guest and Host experience.
The Assistant Chef Steward will also be required to coordinate other kitchen responsibilities, making sure Back of House areas are maintained, and ensure that health and safety are top priorities.
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Supervise the Kitchen Stewards and ensuring high standards

Requirements

Report faults, misused or damaged equipment issues to the General/Hotel Manager, Executive Chef, and/or Chief Engineer
Ensure machinery is operated properly, efficiently, safely and in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations
Assist in the location, movement and storage of operational equipment
Assist in the stock take of equipment and other items as required
Ensure team members adhere to all Health and Safety and Hygiene Regulations
