Responsibilities

Enforce and uphold high standards in hygiene and keep track of banquet service equipment to ensure par level for smooth operations
Provide training to team members and casual labor on all aspects of banquet operations according to the requirements in the department’s Standards
Assist in banquet event operation such as Chinese/Indian/Malay Weddings, Seminar/MICE, Social Lunch/Dinner events, Western Set, Buffet and Chinese style and VIP’s events
Ensure setup is in accordance with guests’ requirement based on Banquet Event Order or Change Log
Engage and obtain guests’ feedback during operations to ensure satisfaction

Requirements

Diploma in Hospitality Management/Food and Beverage preferred
Additional certification(s) in Food and Beverage will be an advantage
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
