- What You Will Be Doing: Key responsibilities includeposting journal entries, conducting intercompany reconciliations, and providingvariance analysis for hotel operations.
- Core Responsibilities& Job Scope: Month-End & Year-End Closing: Preparing, reviewing and posting accruals,prepayments, and adjustment journal entries.
- Ensuring timely submission of financial reports to Owner,Management or Corporate offices Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Reconciling bank accounts and all balance sheetaccounts in the books are properly prepared and accounted for.
- Financial Reporting &Analysis: Preparing Profit & Loss (P&L) statements andproviding variances analysis (actual vs budget / forecast) for hoteldepartments Intercompany Transactions: Reconciling transactions between the hotel, Owner orsister properties.
- Compliance & Audit: Ensuring compliance with internal controls, statutoryregulations, and conducting internal audits on operational data.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of USALI (Uniform System of Accounts for Ledging Industry) preferred
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tightdeadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting withoperations and non-finance departments.
- Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-5+ years of experience, ideally in hospitality industry.
